Railroad Depot & Caboose I-II. This photograph shows artefacts of the "Dallas & Wichita Railway". In 1874, rights-of-way through land outside Dallas was sold to the Railway Company for the price of $1 per acre. The railroad meant progress, quick transportation, communication and access to goods and services from coast to coast. The depot was build around 1877.
